Broughton kindy kids bring joy to Barunga Village residents

KINDY kids from Port Broughton are bringing smiles to the faces of residents at Barunga Village during regular visits which are part of their curriculum.

The K.I.T.E. (Kids Inter­acting with the Elderly) program was the brainchild of former kindergarten employee Alison Rogers and supported by then director Simone Shevchenko.

“Ali did all the initial groundwork to coordinate these visits and ensure they got off the ground and continued successfully for a number of years,” current director Holly Bowey said.
