Funding for suicide prevention programs

THREE Yorke Peninsula projects have received funding through the South Australian Suicide Prevention Community Grant Scheme.

SOS Copper Coast Suicide Prevention Network, The Station Community Mental Heath and Wellbeing Centre and Point Pearce Aboriginal Community Centre will share in funding to raise awareness about suicide prevention.

SOS Copper Coast will implement a self-harm minimisation program for young females which will initiate conversations in schools and provide useful resources whilst providing a safe space for local youth.
