Broughton runners clock up more than 3800 kilometres

PORT Broughton hosted its 25th parkrun on Saturday, and 254 participants have clocked up more than 3800km since the event’s inception in February.

Participants have come from around South Australia and even interstate to walk, run, jog or amble their way along the five-kilometre beach course.

“Sometimes people are travelling through, trying to visit lots of different parkruns, or want to try a new course from their usual home course,” run director Tamara Gill said.
