Edithburgh footy reunion

Green and gold will be the predominant colours at Edithburgh when the 50th anniversary of Edithburgh Football Club’s 1968 premiership is celebrated on Saturday and Sunday, August 11-12.

A grade captain, the late Jay Tape, led his team to its first premiership since 1956, defeating Western United by 11 points, on Saturday, September 14, 1968.

The final scores were 11.13 (79) to 9.14 (68).
