Lions Club donates chair to palliative care

LIONS Club of Minlaton and District, with the Australian Lions Foundation, has purchased a compact lift chair for clients using the services provided by southern Yorke Peninsula palliative care nurses.

The chair, valued at $3800, was officially handed over to Friends of SYP Palliative Care and the nurses at Community Health, Minlaton, recently.

“From a community nursing perspective having a chair of this nature available for client use in the community will be very beneficial,” Friends chairperson Di Reade said.
