GROUP B herbicide resistance is becoming commonplace across a range of Yorke Peninsula weeds, both grassy and broadleaf.

Growers must realise the importance of preserving this chemistry, particularly when looking to utilise more Group B herbicides in crops like hurricane lentils which are tolerant to a lot of Group Bs.

Important weeds like wild radish, Indian hedge mustard, milk thistle and prickly lettuce have all become resistant to Group B herbicides in the past two decades.
