Farmers dirty about lack of road grading

BARUNGA West farmers are angry category five roads haven’t been graded, making it difficult and sometimes dangerous to access their properties.

Council employed two staff members and purchased a grader instead of paying contractors to maintain the region’s dirt roads last year.

The decision was expected to save council more than $80,000 and allow for more roadworks.
