SYP Community Shop donates defibrillator

SOUTHERN Eagles Football Club now has a defibrillator which will travel as part of the club’s training equipment thanks to a donation from the SYP Community Shop at Yorketown.

“Defibrillators are seen as a necessary part of our equipment these days, and we are very grateful for the Community Shop’s donation, which also came with 10 free vouchers for a training course so others in the club can learn how to use the machine,” Eagles head trainer Fraser McEvoy said.

“They also gave us an additional $1000, which we plan to spend on medical supplies.”
