Old mooring anchor discovered

ADELAIDE’S Steve Simmons has spent hours exploring the waters around the Edithburgh jetty but even he was surprised by a recent discovery.

Mr Simmons, who owns a holiday home in the town, found a large anchor in the tidal pool when exploring with semi-local Steve Robinson.

“We headed for a scuba dive from the jetty, something we regularly do looking for crabs and other sea life or just exploring,” Mr Simmons said.
