Port Vincent making progress

PORT Vincent Progress As­soc­iation is looking to rejuvenate the town’s oval, which is no longer used for sport.

The association plans to turn the oval into a recreational space and is looking at fundraising and grant opportunities.

“We are hoping to have an open green space, playground, barbecue and picnic areas, walking/running tracks and adult exercise equipment,” vice-president Michelle Twelftree said.
