Feedback about buildings sought

WAKEFIELD Regional Council is asking community groups for feedback about council-owned buildings to help shape a plan for the future of its assets.

Mayor Rodney Reid said this is the first stage of community engagement to help better understand how often buildings are being used by the community, how groups feel about the buildings and what kind of services they think council should provide.

“The Wakefield region is home to about 340 council-owned buildings and structures, ranging from tool sheds and scoreboards to historical halls and memorial sites,” Mr Reid said.
