THE cool, overcast days in South Australia continued last week and, while areas need rain, the dry days have meant crops can get in the ground without holdups, according to Agfarm account manager SA Kate Phillips.
“The eight-day forecast is showing a promising front coming through towards the end of the period,” she said.
“At this stage it looks like all growing areas from the Eyre Peninsula across to the Mallee should receive a reading in the rain gauge of somewhere between five and 25mm.
