Biosecurity, infrastructure win in budget

PRIMARY Producers South Australia welcomed the 2018 federal budget measures to reduce the cost of business as positives for rural SA.

PPSA chairperson Rob Kerin said the cost of doing business and transport is vital to farmers given SA’s growth export in the past decade has been reliant on food and wine.

“The federal government’s commitment to infrastructure, particularly roads, is welcomed with significant investment flagged over the next decade,” he said.
