Workshops to better statistical skills

GRAIN researchers and agronomists can take their statistical skills to the next level thanks to training offered through GRDC’s Statistics for the Australian Grains Industry program.

The practical, interactive workshops were launched early this year and have an investment of $18million over the next five years to support rapid advances in crop varieties, agronomic knowledge and farming practices.

SAGI South, a people-centred workshop, is led by University of Adelaide’s School of Agriculture, Food and Wine senior statistician Dr Olene Kravchuk and will be presented by Sharon Nielsen, Sam Rogers and Wendy Li.
