YORKE Peninsula Council landholders have been left with questions about the proposed rate increase of 11.8 per cent for primary production land.
Council’s draft annual business plan, adopted on Wednesday, May 9, highlighted the rise amongst its potential rating model.
Marion Bay’s Mark Bennett, who crops around 2000 hectares with wife Nancy and son Scott and family, is not happy with the increase.
