Wallaroo’s seaside vet takes to the road

WALLAROO vet Dr John Carles is used to treating domestic pets and the odd wild or ocean visitor in his Seaside Vet Surgery.

On the road, it’s a different story and for the past few years he has offered a flying vet service to treat animals in remote areas.

Dr Carles and his partner Beatrice went more remote than ever when they visited Aboriginal community Tjuntjuntjarre, in eastern central Western Australia in March.
