Local support for women in need

YORKE Peninsula Council, with the support of the Police Credit Union and John Webb and Associates, is collecting personal hygiene items for women in need.

Council has been collecting essential toiletries and sanitary products from its staff for the Share the Dignity campaign.

“We had been talking about supporting women in need and finding some way of paying it forward and are now encouraging the community to join us and donate personal items for delivery to women who are less fortunate than many of us,” spokesperson Jackie Reddaway said.
