Leading the way at Edithburgh

PIPER Ron Watson and drummer Tony Furlong take their preparations for the Edithburgh Anzac Day march seriously.

Following the adage practice makes perfect, the two have been working together two or three times per week for more than a month to make sure they are in tune come Wednesday, April 25.

Ron has taken part in the march for five years and talked Tony, a former member of the British Army’s Coldstream Guards, into learning the drum three years ago.
