Pubs can open Good Friday – but will they?

MANY local hotels will not be opening their doors this Good Friday, despite new regulations allowing them to.

Last November, the Australian Hotels Association announced pubs could trade on Good Friday as if it was an ordinary Friday.

The changes will not affect the gaming trade and gaming machines will remain non-operational on Good Friday and Christmas Day.
