Station focuses on suicide prevention

THE Station Community Mental Health Centre, Wallaroo, is creating a strategy to combat suicide.

Treasurer Wayne Old­field and peer support counsellor Richard O’Flaherty have recently completed the Black Dog Institute suicide prevention training and are now working to put in place things they learned.

The centre is also working with and using Country & Outback Health’s My Life program.
