Farmers beware: mouse activity on the rise

FARMERS should ready themselves for another season of tackling mice, after CSIRO researchers have found signs of activity on most areas of Yorke Peninsula.

Steve Henry and Nikki Van de Weyer visited 13 sites between Bute and Curramulka, finding patchy but definite signs of mouse numbers rising, last Thursday, March 22.

“Mice are certainly here in numbers to equal this time last year or higher,” Mr Henry said.
