Your View: Proper governance

WHAT do Peter Paule and Jason Hobbs (YPCT Your View 27-2-18) have in common?

Their concerns for proper governance — Copper Coast Council can’t build bridges within the community, and the management of Wallaroo Hospital and SA Health’s laziness.

I protested at Parliament House 35 years ago to save it with hundreds of others. We won.

The Kadina doctors ran the board and wanted it in Kadina. I knew Wallaroo had management problems then and the union control of SA Health now has starved the health budget and mismanagement.

You could end up as good as Oakden and Keith hospitals.

See how ugly Kadina looks now. I was going to come back before retiring and operate a security, safety and training consulting business.

A caretaker option sounds very good for both groups.

The Moonta and Wallaroo doctors may work there again. The people who occupy North Terrace are afraid of their paymasters in “Trades Hall” and say “yes master”.

SA Ambulance Service can’t find volunteers who can’t be trained above EMT level without union approval.
