Long-term spending approved

THE long-term financial outlook of the Copper Coast Council has been given the tick of approval by elected members.

Councillors sent a draft copy of the Long Term Financial Plan out for public consultation in January and only one submission — raising concerns about council’s consultation policy — was returned.

Rates are set to increase by 3.8 per cent this coming financial year, before rising by 3.2 per cent in 2019-20.
