Boyd Woodcock performs well in academy match

REPORTER: Peter Argent

Paskeville junior Boyd Woodcock played in the annual SANFL Under-18 Academy game, which starts the draft year for many prospective AFL talents.

Scouts predict the 2018 season will be a super draft, and all 18 AFL clubs attended the academy contest.

Woodcock is a 177-centimetre, 72-kilogram midfielder/small forward who played for the Blue side coached by Chris Smelt and former Bute recruit and Sturt/Carlton footballer Ben Nelson.
