Your View: Marina bridge a huge asset

I EXPRESS my family’s wholehearted approval of the proposed marina footbridge.

Since moving to Wallaroo in 2007, I have thought it a serious error the marina developers were not compelled to reconnect the town with its main beach, and all those living or visiting on the North Beach side with their town facilities.

Not everyone has access to a car or the desire to use one all the time and I think young people in particular would find a bridge useful, especially if it is linked to walking/cycling paths giving direct access to the main street.

I applaud this council’s determined efforts to make the Copper Coast a thriving and attractive tourist destination as well as a better place to live, and feel certain the marina bridge will be a huge asset.
