WHILE the state government is spruiking the success of marine parks, commercial fishers say restrictions are making it hard for those in the industry to stay afloat.
In some instances, operators are having to fish hundreds of kilometres from their homes.
SA Northern Zone Rock Lobster Fishery chief executive Kyri Toumazos said overall the season is going well and prices are good, but the long-term implications of the restrictions have fishers concerned.
