National Trust given ownership of heritage properties

FOUR Yorke Peninsula heritage properties will be transferred into the ownership of the National Trust of South Australia for their continued conservation.

The Wallaroo Heritage and Nautical Museum (formerly the post office), Matta House Kadina, Moonta National Trust Museum (formerly Moonta Mines Model School) and former Moonta post office have been chosen.

Copper Coast Council mayor Paul Thomas is glad to see properties in the care of the community groups who look after them.
