Former local set for Legislative Council

LAST week, Emily Bourke wasn’t even in the state election race.

Now, the former local is highly likely to win a spot in the Legislative Council.

Mrs Bourke secured the prized number-one position on the Labor Legislative Council ballot paper, taking the place of former Disability and Mental Health Minister Leesa Vlahos.
