EXTREME SUMMER

YORKE Peninsula can expect more extreme heat this weekend with temperatures to soar into the 40s.

Residents were subjected to a string of hot days last week, from Wed­nes­day, January 17, to Sunday, January 21.

Thursday and Friday were the hottest with the temperature peaking at 45.3 degrees in Snowtown, 45.2 in Kadina and 42.7 at Minlaton on Friday.
