YORKE Peninsula can expect more extreme heat this weekend with temperatures to soar into the 40s.
Residents were subjected to a string of hot days last week, from Wednesday, January 17, to Sunday, January 21.
Thursday and Friday were the hottest with the temperature peaking at 45.3 degrees in Snowtown, 45.2 in Kadina and 42.7 at Minlaton on Friday.
