Leisure Centre show court gets a boost

YORKE Valley Basketball Association has donated $60,000 to purchase a multimedia system for the Copper Coast Sport and Leisure Centre.

The system will be installed on the new show court and will include a five-metre video screen.

“When the possibility of the redevelopment was raised, we initially thought the budget would be $5million and we would have had to pay for all the basketball equipment,” YVBA chairperson Mike Newton said.
