Council approves long-term plan

COPPER Coast Council elected members supported the draft Long Term Financial Plan at the January meeting.

The plan sets out a view of council spending for the next 10 years, which includes two years of less than four per cent residential rate rises, seven years at two per cent and a zero per cent rise in 2027-28.

Councillor Mathew East said the plan put council in a good direction for the future.
