Local croquet players triumph in Victoria

Yorke Peninsula croquet players Linda and Malcolm Kinch, Judy Lipsett and Sandy Rodsted (Kadina), and Malcolm Algie and Mary Bishop (Moonta), were amongst the 15 South Australians who played in the annual Portland Croquet Club Association Tournament, Victoria, earlier this month.

In all, there were eight tournament prize winners, and five of these were from SA: YP players Bishop, Kinch and Algie, along with Murray Baum (Norwood) and Shirlene McBride (Normanville).

YP has three active croquet clubs, in Kadina, Moonta and Wallaroo; anyone interested in having a go should contact their nearest club.
