Perfect for sailing at Wallaroo Sailing Club meeting

Sunday’s forecast was for hot weather with a gentle breeze, and a change later in the day; however, at Wallaroo, on the water was the place to be.

A lovely breeze with gusts up to 19 knots kept the Wallaroo Sailing Club racing interesting and unpredictable with a few tactics coming into play throughout the two races.

It was great to see a few Sabres out on the water practising for the national championships in Perth at the end of December. After racing, back at the club there were a few nibbles and drinks, the Commodore wished the members season’s greetings and the first half of the sailing season was done and dusted.
