Animal disease management to be reviewed this summer

PIRSA Biosecurity SA is reminding livestock farmers to review diseasemanagement procedures after recent warmer temperatures and rain.

The weather has created an ideal environment for the development of animal health illnesses, which impact on business productivity.

Cattle and sheep producers should review worm-management programs, consider the need for fecal egg counts and review vaccination programs for clostridial diseases, like pulpy kidney.
