Council calls special meeting

COPPER Coast Council held a special meeting, just two days after its regular monthly gathering, on Friday, December 8.

Councillors discussed the final step in revoking the community land title at allotments 2, 9 and 22 Frances Terrace, Kadina, to allow for retail developments and car parking.

“We received notification from the minister yesterday (Thursday) the revocation had been approved and we wanted to deal with it as soon as possible prior to the state government going into caretaker mode,” Mayor Paul Thomas said.
