Port Broughton op shop celebrates 40 years

PAST and present members of the Port Broughton Uniting Church opportunity shop celebrated its 40th birthday on Friday, December 8.

The op shop was opened in the old Methodist manse on Edward Street in Port Broughton on December 8, 1977.

For the anniversary, inaugural president Beryl Noble and secretary/treasurer Barbara Bowley unveiled a commemorative plaque on the building.
