Final Hillside Mine community session

Rex Minerals outlined the management plan for the closure and rehabilitation of its proposed Hillside copper mine at a community information session held at Pine Point on Sunday, November 26.

The meeting was the final in a series of six community sessions hosted by Hillside Mine Community Voice.

They covered aspects of the company’s Program for Environment Protection and Rehabilitation, which is due to be submitted to the Department of Premier and Cabinet by February 26.
