Win for Black Point community

A PLAN to sell community land at Black Point appears dead in the water, after a special Yorke Peninsula Council meeting.

The Black Point community and progress association had condemned the plan, to ask the minister to revoke community land classification on four allotments within the town so YPC could sell the land.

The idea was first raised in 2016 and a majority of elected members voted to proceed with the attempted revocation in May.
