Film night raises awareness for NETS

LOCALS showed their support for World NET Cancer Day and the Unicorn Foundation on Friday, November 10.

Statewide Cinema owner Carol Burford hosted a special screening of Bad Moms 2 at Kadina in memory of her late husband David, who passed away in July after a battle with neuroendocrine tumours (NETs).

“We had almost 200 people there, which was great, but a little disappointing as we hoped to sell out,” Carol said.
