Weather wreaks havoc on crops

WIND, rain and hail have wreaked havoc on farmers and their harvest.

Kadina agronomist Chris Davey said the severe weather has flattened some lentils and shattered a lot of lentil grain and pods onto the ground.

“Just when we thought we were going to come out of this season okay, Mother Nature throws some wild weather at us just before harvest gets into full swing,” Mr Davey said.
