Hockey club scores a goal with council

KADINA Hockey Club’s push to create a turf-based facility has scored a goal with Copper Coast Council elected members.

Councillors will support the club with a 15-year, $300,000 loan through the Local Government Finance Authority as well as allocating up to $300,000 from the sale of land at Moonta Bay.

The funding will build on the $117,000 the club received from the Office of Recreation and Sport earlier this year.
