Fund My Neighbourhood

MORE than 50 projects will compete for a share of $260,000 through the state government’s Fund My Neighbourhood grants.

Locals were asked for ideas worth $10,000 to $150,000 and the community will vote for those they feel deserve funding. The state has been split into zones for the program with Yorke Peninsula Council, Copper Coast Council and District Council of Barunga West forming a region.

Residents are able to vote for projects within a five-kilometre radius of their home; however, the online tool will automatically expand to include the closest 30 projects in areas with less than 30 ideas within the radius.
