Training for suicide prevention

LOCAL health professionals and frontline service workers are now on the same page when it comes to suicide prevention.

Doctors, mental health clinicians and support workers were amongst the attendees at the Connecting with People Suicide Mitigation Training was presented by the Office of the Chief Psychiatrist in Kadina recently.

The program was developed by UK doctor Alys Cole-King and is being rolled out across South Australia.
