SYP CFS volunteers awarded service medals

SOUTHERN Yorke Peninsula CFS volunteers were recognised for their service in an awards ceremony at the Yorketown station on Sunday, October 15.

National service medals, as well as awards for 10, 20, 30, 40 or 50 years of involvement were awarded to 10 Yorketown members, seven from Minlaton and one Stansbury.

Stewart Germaine and Dwayne Hoyle, both of Minlaton, as well as Yorke­town’s Nicolle Haylock, and Lachlan Hennekam re­cei­ved 10-year service medals.

    It is amazing i didnt even get a mention after all the bloody years i helped and supported the service
    Not even of my medial or a invite to collect i think thats bloody poor on a volunteer serverce not even a coment on past service
    Shame on you all yorketown
    Why did i even waste my time
    Well done peter bywaters looking good lol
