Your View: Park signs

THE park at Edithburgh is beautiful at present because we have had a lot of rain making everything green.

The wattles are just breaking into flower, with the many bird varieties flitting from flower to flower, the magpies warbling and the lorikeets screeching, making it a lovely pleasant and peaceful place for a stroll.

The volunteers do a terrific job trimming the trees, mowing the grass and keeping the whole area clean and tidy. It is also good to see the council showing an interest by installing signs at the entrances to remind the irresponsible dog owners not to spoil it for everyone, by not picking up their dogs’ droppings.

However, I think they need a few more at the entrances on Anstey Terrace and Park Terrace, as these are probably the most used ones and they cut through to the shops.
