    I RECENTLY participated in the Walk for Solar from Port Augusta to Adelaide, in support of replacing the old coal-fired power stations at Port Augusta with solar-thermal and wind power.

    Most of the people on the walk were under 30 (I am 67); their enthusiasm and determination to do something to slow climate change was inspiring.

    Perhaps this should not surprise us as it is their world which will be degraded by the effects of climate change.
