Noah not dreading a chop

SEVEN-year-old Noah Macgowan, of Stansbury, has been growing his dreadlocks since he was 3 but has decided to chop them off for a great cause.

Noah’s close friend, 9-year-old Lily Wildash, has recently been diagnosed with autoimmune disease lupus, the cause of which is unknown, so he will donate all proceeds to the Garvan Institute of Medical Research.

“We set up a Grassrootz fundraising page with the aim of raising $2000, and we achieved that within 24 hours,” Noah’s mum Ebony Macgowan said.
