Moonta Probus Club ponders CBD

COPPER Coast Council planning officer Matt Dineen spoke to Moonta Probus Club members on Monday, September 3.

Initial consultations with Moonta residents and answers to a public questionnaire have given council a sense of public opinion regarding the proposed development of the town centre, he said.

Council is anticipating about a 5000-strong population soon, with growth in the 65-year-plus age group, so that demographic will influence any upgrades or changes. People with young children also need to be considered.
