PORT Clinton’s Knit4Charities group has created nearly 500 items for people in need.

The group formed in March last year, knitting and crocheting beanies, scarves, gloves, rugs and toys for homeless shelters, domestic violence shelters, local aged care facilities, Foodbank and other local organisations.

They have also supplied comfort bears to the Ardrossan Medical Centre for children who may need comforting during medical procedures.
