Young leaders empowered for change

STUDENTS participating in the Young Environmental Leaders program on Yorke Peninsula attended the second forum for the year recently.

Natural Resources Northern and Yorke Landscapes Ranger Fabienne Dee said as part of the program, young leaders are spending the year exploring nature and local spaces, and the link between human behaviour and the impact it can have on the environment.

Students from Bute, Curramulka, Warooka and Stansbury Primary Schools; Kadina Memorial High, St Columba’s Memorial, St Mary MacKillop, Yorketown Area and Minlaton District Schools; and Harvest Christian College are involved in the program.
